PUPIL CLASS ROUTINES
* pupils will enter calmly and sit to a seating plan
* eating, chewing or drinking are not allowed in the classroom
* bags and coats will be removed before entering the classroom
* mobiles, Ipods etc. must be switched off and put safely in bags
* pupils will put their hands up to ask or answer questions
* pupils will stay in their seats unless otherwise instructed
* pupils are not allowed out of lessons
* equipment will be packed away only when the teacher says
* pupils will leave the room in a calm way
* pupils will put coats on when the teacher says so
TEACHER CLASS ROUTINES
* where possible teachers will meet pupils at the door
* an attendance register will be taken when pupils are quiet
* pupils will seat to a seating plan
* teachers will let pupils answer when their hand is up
* teachers have high expectations of their pupils
* pupils will stay in their seats unless otherwise instructed
* teachers will show fairness and consistency in applying rules
* teachers will not let pupils out of lessons except in emergencies
* teachers will provide an exit pass if a pupil needs to be out of lessons
* pupils should be told to pack away in good time
* teachers should ensure pupils leave in an orderly manner
